0.6 & 1.5 ml Microcentrifuge Tubes

These disposable 0.6 ml and 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes feature a two-step cap with our patented Cap-Lok seal. The first step allows easy, one-hand, nonsplash opening but seals tightly enough for spinning and to prevent leaking. The second Cap-Lok step is tighter and provides the optimum seal for boiling, freezing, storing or shipping. Also incorporated into the design of the cap is a completely flat, frosted top, which provides an excellent writing surface.

In order to eliminate painful “pokes,” the outer bottom of the tubes is smooth; the inner bottom is rounded to ensure maximum sample recovery. Our 0.6 ml size tube is the tube of choice for PCR methodology.

Both sizes are made of virgin, nonwettable polypropylene and are autoclavable. They are available in six noncytotoxic, nonmetallic colors, and can be ordered sterilized by gamma irradiation. The tubes are packaged 1000/bag.
